Titan Pro was born from a dream, built with resilience, and fueled by a deep love for agriculture. Our founder, Jeff Meints, has dedicated over 30 years to the industry, but his roots in farming go back even further. Growing up on a farm in Sheffield, Iowa, Jeff was inspired by his grandfather’s 1946 Ford Ferguson tractor and a family legacy built on hard work and perseverance. He envisioned a company that could lead agriculture into the future while remaining humble in tradition.
In 1990, Jeff saw an opportunity that would give small and mid-size farmers the ability to pool their orders together, securing better pricing and greater access to quality inputs. That vision became the foundation of Titan Pro’s business model. Since our founding in 2009, we’ve stayed true to the principles that launched us: fairness, trust, and a relentless commitment to doing right by our farmers and dealers.
Farming isn’t just a business, it’s a way of life. Jeff knows this firsthand, not just as the leader of Titan Pro but as a farmer himself. He’s walked the same fields, faced the same tough decisions, and felt the weight of every season’s uncertainty. That’s why, from day one, Titan Pro has been about more than just selling crop protection and seed. It’s about trust. It’s about relationships. It’s about standing by our farmers and dealers, no matter what.
We’ve grown from a bold idea into a thriving business with a dedicated team of independent dealers working across the Midwest. But growth alone isn’t what drives us, innovation does. Titan Pro continues to evolve, bringing cutting-edge solutions to the table, from our private-label adjuvant line to the latest advancements in chemistries. We’ve also partnered with Hylio Drones to bring precision agriculture to new heights. Our goal is to ensure that our farmers and dealers always have access to the tools, knowledge, and support they need to succeed.
As Titan Pro continues to grow, the torch is being passed to the next generation. Jeff’s children, who have been part of the company from the very beginning, remain active in the business, with some stepping into leadership roles, bringing fresh perspectives while staying grounded in the values that built Titan Pro. But no matter how much we expand, our core values never change: Do what we say we’ll do. Treat people fairly. Follow through on promises made and expect the same in return. Jeff takes immense pride in seeing them carry forward the legacy he’s worked so hard to create.
