This peat inoculant is intended to be applied with the seed. It is a culture of highly effective strains of rhizobia (nitrogen-fixing bacteria) that colonize the plant roots to gather and fix nitrogen from the air, making it available to the plants. A greater amount of bacteria can be made available to the developing plant in this manner.
For use in clover grown for seed, dry beans, dry peas, English pea (succulent), lima bean (succulent), snap bean, and soybean.
For control of soil insects in corn and tuberous and corm vegetables.
For disease control and plant health in the following crops: alfalfa, barley, Brassica leafy vegetables, citrus fruit, corn (all types), cotton, dried shelled peas and beans, edible-podded legume vegetables, fruiting vegetables (including tomato), grass grown for seed, oats, oilseed crops (including flax seed, rapeseed, safflower, and sunflower), peanut, rye, sorghum and millet, soybean, succulent shelled peas and beans, sugar beet, sugarcane, tuberous and corm vegetables (potato), wheat and triticale.
